What we can help with

We commonly assess and treat:

  • Sprains and strains, minor fractures and joint injuries

  • Acute illness such as fever, respiratory symptoms, gastro, ear/throat infections
  • General urgent medical concerns that don’t require an emergency department

ACC injury claims (for accidents in New Zealand)

If your injury happened in New Zealand, our clinicians can assess the injury and lodge an ACC claim where appropriate. ACC determines eligibility and entitlements. ACC usually contributes to injury-related treatment costs, and patients may still need to pay part of the consultation fee.

ACC does not cover illness, and does not cover injuries that occurred overseas.

After-hours

We’re open from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. If you need urgent care outside clinic hours, your call will be diverted to the afterhours telehealth agency. Your call will be answered by a nurse or a doctor. Afterhours service fee may be charged by the telehealth agency.

If there is a medical emergency call 111 or seek urgent medical attention from the emergency department at Lakes District Hospital in Queenstown (20 Douglas Street, Frankton).

Attending other after-hours services may incur a casual patient fee.
