ACC Services & Sports Medicine
Cardrona Doctors provides assessment and treatment for ACC-covered injuries that occur in New Zealand, including work-related, sports and everyday accidents. We manage both acute injuries and ongoing recovery, supporting patients with appropriate treatment plans and follow-up care.
ACC Injury Care
Our clinicians can assess injuries, lodge ACC claims where appropriate, provide medical certificates, and coordinate referrals to physiotherapy or specialist services when required. ACC eligibility and entitlements are determined by ACC.
We also provide ACC-related services for local businesses and employers, including injury assessment and work-related medical support.
Sports Injury Care
We regularly assess and treat sports and activity-related injuries, including acute injuries and overuse conditions. This includes injuries associated with sports, mountain biking, running and other outdoor activities common in the Wānaka region.
Treatment focuses on accurate assessment, early management and safe return to activity.
Fees may apply for services not fully covered by ACC.

Winter Sports Injury Care
During the winter season, we regularly assess and treat injuries related to skiing, snowboarding and alpine activities. Common presentations include sprains, fractures, soft tissue injuries, joint injuries and impact-related trauma.
We provide care for both enrolled and non-enrolled patients, including overseas visitors and seasonal workers, who are injured while in the Wānaka region. If your injury occurred in New Zealand, our clinicians can assess the injury and lodge an ACC claim where appropriate. Eligibility and entitlements are determined by ACC.
We provide initial assessment and treatment, medical certification where required, and follow-up care or referrals to physiotherapy or specialist services.
Fees may apply for non-enrolled patients and for services not fully covered by ACC.
Same-day and walk-in appointments may be available for acute winter injuries.
